During his visit to Vietnam on 9 March, the Chairman of B.GRIMM Group – Dr. Harald Link met with employees at the Hanoi Office and shared valuable insights on leadership, corporate values, and the importance of collaboration across the Group.
The Chairman, Dr. Harald Link was welcomed by Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Country Director of B.GRIMM Power in Vietnam, together with the management team and employees working at the Hanoi Office, representatives of management and staffs from other entities also joined the meeting online, creating an opportunity for broader connection and exchange across locations.
The meeting opened with a brief overview of key activities and challenges in 2025 via a sum-up video. It also provided an opportunity for employees to engage in an open dialogue with the Chairman and exchange perspectives on the Group’s development and future direction.
Recognising the Efforts of the Vietnam Team
During the discussion, the Chairman expressed his sincere appreciation to the Vietnam team for their professionalism, dedication, and strong problem-solving capabilities. He acknowledged the efforts of employees in navigating challenges related to tariffs and regulatory requirements while maintaining stable and efficient operations.
He encouraged the Vietnam team to continue sharing ideas, feedback, and perspectives with the Bangkok headquarters, highlighting the importance of understanding local conditions while strengthening collaboration across the Group.
Leadership as Responsibility
Sharing his personal perspective on leadership, the Chairman emphasised that leadership should not be seen as a position of power, but rather as a responsibility to guide and support others.
Reflecting on the Group’s history, he noted that the organisation has always been built on trust, innovation, and a commitment to serving society. While financial success remains important, the greater purpose of the Group is to create sustainable value for communities. This principle is reflected in the company’s mission: “Empowering the World Compassionately.”
Harmony and Collaboration for Future Growth
A key theme highlighted during the meeting was the principle of harmony—working together towards shared goals, engaging in constructive debate, and ultimately aligning behind collective decisions. The Chairman summarised this spirit with the phrase “Fight and Unite.”
He also praised the achievements of the Vietnam team, including the successful development and operation of major projects such as the solar power plant. These milestones demonstrate that ambitious goals can be achieved through collaboration, resilience, and shared commitment.
As an example of the Group’s expanding global presence, the Chairman also mentioned the recent expansion into the United States through the acquisition of a 25% stake in the Brookfield portfolio—an achievement made possible by the Group’s reputation as a trusted and capable operator.
In addition, amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, the team should remain attentive to the efficient use of resources, including cost management, in order to adapt to the current global political and economic uncertainties.
The Chairman, Dr. Harald Link concluded the meeting by expressing his appreciation for the dedication of the Vietnam team and his confidence in the continued growth and success of the Group’s operations in Vietnam.
