Hoa Hoi solar power plant (Factory) located in Phong Hau village, Hoa Hoi commune, Phu Hoa district, Phu Yen province was built on an area of 256 hectares with a capacity of 256Mwp, total investment capital above 4,985 billion VND. The project officially broke ground on November 18, 2018. After nearly 7 months of construction with the spirit of serious work and the coordination of experienced domestic and foreign partners, the plant successfully energized. On June 10, 2019, the date of commercial operation was officially recognized by the electricity trading company (EVNEPTC) under the Vietnam Electricity Corporation. Accordingly, about 677,000 solar panels have been installed to help absorb the sun's radiation and convert it to electricity into the national grid system.

With the above results, in addition to the close attention and direction of the local government, there is also the cooperation and assistance of local people. In particular, the 220 kV transmission line of Tuy Hoa substation to the factory is about 12 km, but the construction ground for the line is supported by the local people, so connecting the 220 kV power grid with the plant's transformer station is a very convenient  profit.

As one of the projects in the 30th anniversary of the re-establishment of Phu Yen province, the factory is expected to contribute more than 80 billion to the provincial budget annually.
