Recently, a mission from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) conducted a working visit to the Hoa Hoi Solar Power Plant in Phu Yen Province and the office of TTP Phu Yen Joint Stock Company in Hanoi from February 26 to March 1, 2025. This visit was part of the Extended Annual Review Report (XARR) assessment—a key self-evaluation process for ADB-financed projects aimed at reviewing development objectives, assessing implementation results, and drawing lessons learned to optimize future investment efficiency.
During the working sessions, the mission was divided into two groups focusing on different areas of expertise.

Financial – Operational – Gender Assessment
Throughout the discussions, both sides exchanged insights on financial performance, operational efficiency, and the achievement of the project’s development objectives. Notably, the Gender Team held direct working sessions with the Human Resources Department, female employees in technical and supervisory roles, and interns to evaluate the project’s impact on promoting gender equality in the renewable energy sector.

Site Visit
In Phu Yen, the ADB mission continued its activities until March 1, focusing on on-site assessments at the Hoa Hoi Solar Power Plant. The delegation conducted interviews with the operations team and local residents to evaluate the plant’s environmental and community impacts.

Promoting Cooperation and Sustainable Development
This mission marks an important step in the cooperation between ADB and TTP Phu Yen Joint Stock Company, helping to ensure the project’s sustainable development goals. The findings and recommendations from the XARR assessment are expected to enhance operational efficiency, optimize development strategies, and promote future renewable energy projects.

With a strong commitment to sustainable development, TTP Phu Yen continues to affirm its pioneering role in the clean energy sector, contributing to energy transition efforts and emissions reduction in Vietnam.
