On October 10, 2018, EPTC Power Trading Company of Vietnam Electricity and Phu Yen TTP Joint Stock Company signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) for the Hoa Hoi solar power project.
EPTC Power Trading Company and Phu Yen TTP Company have successfully negotiated and signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for Hoa Hoi solar power project with the purchase price of 9.35 cents / kWh.
Installation works in Hoa Hoi commune, Phu Hoa district, Phu Yen province are expected to start supplying electricity to the national grid in mid-2019. The project is developed on an area of about 256 hectares, with the power to the grid is 214MW, equivalent to 256MWp, with a total investment of 4,385 billion VND.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, General Director of Phu Yen TTP Company, said: The company has now completed the procedures and procedures to allow the deployment of Hoa Hoi solar power project, with a capacity of up to 256MWp. It is expected to help meet the long-term demand of additional loads in Vietnam and promote economic development for Phu Yen province in particular and Vietnam in general.
The Institute of Energy - Ministry of Industry and Trade is the consultant that supported the investor, Phu Yen TTP Company, has reached the Grid Connection Agreement, Metering System Agreement ... to ensure the conditions to sign PPA with EPTC. In addition, the company also provides a feasibility study report, basic design and technical design service for the project.
